- Dawn grew up in MI, Ryan is from FL. We met in Kenya and married in 2000. Caleb is 8, Levi is 6, and Seth is 4! Chloe, our adopted daughter, will soon be 3. Dawn worked as a bush missionary nurse for 4 years before meeting Ryan and since than has been learning alot about being the wife of an aircraft mechanic. We have lived in Nairobi since 2002. On August 7, the Lord called Ryan home, he died following and airplane crash.
