A Three Horned Cameleon

Titus, our gardner, regularly catches cameleons when he trims our hedges. He puts them in a bucket for the boys. We save them til Ryan gets home to 'show and tell'. Than we let them go!
Having a gardner might sound extravagant but its a real blessing. His labor is cheap for us. Titus lives in a slum with his wife and four kids. All his kids are in school, which is commendable. He works two days a week for us.

The Mightier Juicers

Ryan bought 40 oranges for $3.00 from a friend and the boys helped him juice them. They made 4 quarts of fresh squeezed orange juice. And drank it up!

Seth's First birthday

We has so many kids!!! I lost track and was afraid I wouldn't have enough hotdogs but than someone recommended cutting them in half for all the little kids. Worked Great!
Our menu was kid friendly, hotdogs, french fries, carrot sticks, cake, trail mix that the kids ate all the M&MS and left the rest! For the adults we had layered nacho dip.
We played farmer in the dell, duck, duck, goose, hide the stuffed bear, ring around the rosie. Caleb loved that, he always wants to play games.
Seth enjoyed his cake with tinnies in it and chocolate frosting with sprinkles on top

We saved the big banner from Caleb's 4th Birthday that we had hung in my hospital room and reused it. The boys helped Ryan hang up balloons which mostly got popped.
Ryan took the day off and was wonderful to have for the whole day. He roasted hotdogs on the gas grill we brought from the states. In the background you can see our wood pile. we have been having lots of fires in the fireplace during the cold season. Love it! Its been 50 degrees during the night and 60-65 during the day.
The boys helped blow the relighting candles out. Posted by Picasa
